rumors

Let's imagine that the Lost and Forgotten might possibly be coming back to the Homeland for a brief visit.

Should we fob during that brief period? For old times' sake?

We should at least get together, and if someone wants to bring writing to be fobbed, all the better.

I volunteer the Warren for said gathering. I figure that might make life easier for Tolkers, coming all the way from Bountiful.

What's Tolkers going to be doing in Bountiful?

(Though I have to admit, I have a hard time differentiating Bountiful from Ogden myself, or for that matter from Logan or pretty much anywhere north of Salt Lake.)

Wait . . . You mean that all this time I've been associating with someone from Ogden? Maybe we shouldn't have a gathering after all. You've deceived me.

editorgirl is the Boutifullian.

And the only time that would work for both Master Fob and myself would be Tuesday, two weeks from today.

Oh, and stopped looking so shocked. You knew it was me.

Huh? Is everyone going to Utah?

Why didn't anyone tell me?

Hmm, looks like those of us with ravaged faces and lacking in the social graces will desperately remain at home, inventing lovers on the phone.

you know I'm there.

Or rather, here.

eg . . . You were right the first time when you said, "There." Because you'll be here--at the warren.

And it looks like we're scheduled for Tuesday, March 20 at the Warren.

(Is Mely going to make it to town? I think she should. Just because.)

I think this is a horribly cruel twist of fate that I will be there a week later and none of you will be. This is all wrong, wrong, wrong!!

But have a good time without me anyway. Enjoy the FOB bonding.

Nobody went for this when -I- came back.

If you fob, I will take it as a personal affront.

And you know how easily affronted I am.
